Mel Jones

Mel Jones is a trailblazing South African comedian, MC, and creative powerhouse whose career spans radio, television, theatre, and international stages. A graduate of CPUT, Mel has not only made audiences laugh, she’s also made history—becoming the first female comedian to tour nationally on a full comedy lineup. She has written for TV, hosted major events, and held radio roles both on-air and behind the scenes. Her multidisciplinary experience allows her to expertly hold space, read a room, and lift the energy wherever she appears.
